I believe that human-centred design is critical to creating technology and services that work for their users, instead of users working for their technology. With Master’s degree concentrations in User Experience and Culture & Technology, two years as an RA in a children’s technologies research partnership, and a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, I am a design specialist with a deep curiousity on the effects of technology between individuals and society. That’s why I believe that placing the user at the centre of product and service design processes is an essential practice, enabling us to make data-informed decisions on the digital services that shape people’s everyday lives. When I’m not practicing my research and design skills I’m probably hitting the gym, laughing at comedy podcasts to myself in public places, and ranking up my character in Overwatch!
